I usually just frown and say "why are you being so racist/homophobic"? I'm more likely to confront if somebody else is offended.

Second day of our sportsfest today, but I didn’t go despite the fact that I signed up for Track & Field. I’ve only gotten an average of 6 hours of sleep this week, so I don’t have much energy left to play and cheer. In other words, sleep trumps sex. Errrrr.. I mean sleep trumps sportsfest.

Hah! Found you! ♫ I finally found what I’ve been looking for ♫
--------
RUSSIANS FAILED. Nadia Petrova, another famous Russian, has been ousted by Melanie Oudin. Good job, kiddo. It’s cool that she has a twin sister like me, but only they’re fraternal. Her twin must be really, really, nervous than anyone in their family. It’s a twin thing.
Anywho, better luck next matches my fellow Russians (yes, I have dual citizenship. I’m half-Irish, half-Russian now and I've changed my name to Colleen Reinova, lol! How I wish. What's up with their surnames, always ending with "va" except for Safina)
xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Our company’s Sportsfest is coming up. Since there’s no bowling, I joined Track and Field instead. Not a good idea. I just found out that I have hyperthyroidism that has been causing me some dizziness spell, weight loss and palpitations.
Melanie, on the other hand, had only 5 double faults. Nothing great about her serve, but she can run! Man, this American already kicked 3 Russians out. Let's see if she could take Petrova out. Unlike Sharapova, Petrova doesn't seem to be suffering from that many double faults. But who knows, Maria won her first title on Wimbledon at the age of 17. Why can’t Oudin do it?
I hate to see Maria exit on the third round, but it was time. See you on Australian Open next year. Please work on your serve and take good care! I still love you!! ♥♥♥ Mwah, mwah!
And by the way, thanks for calling a medical timeout on the third set, Maria. You have given me a femslash fantasy right there with that cool medical trainer ♥, lol. I’m so bad. Where's Camilla Belle anyway? Those crazy girls on Mamilla board have nothing to chew on.

♫ What would my mama do..... uh-oh, uh-oh. ♫
I’ve already used 5 sick leaves for this month alone; as a result, I’m waaaay behind my work right now. And then of course, there’s training calibration to worry about. It’s been more than a decade since I used PowerPoint, people!
Bueno. Watched “Up” this afternoon, and as usual Disney/Pixar did not disappoint. We’re going to watch District 9 next week.
I really enjoyed watching The Proposal. Seriously. Sandra Bullock is ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ .
It was raining the whole Sunday afternoon, so by the time we got out of the house to hit the mall, waters were everywhere. Like, above ankle high water, so it was impossible not to get your feet wet even if you're wearing shoes (unless you're wearing boots).
But thanks to a kind taxi driver, he offered us to ride on his taxi for free, just so we can avoid crossing a very flooded street and wet my Chuck's any further. Bless you kind sir.
When we arrived at the mall, I checked the movie schedules and was dumbfounded to see that My Sister's Keeper was already on theaters. I was like “Fuck! I thought this movie was moved to, I dunno, August? Like what they did to Up? It's not part of my plan to watch a movie today!!” But yeah, we watched the movie anyway. Before that, we played Guitar Hero Arcade for the first time in Timezone. It's true, what they say. It will definitely rape your wallet. It costs 25 php per player, and only allows you to play 1 song!
Back to My Sister's Keeper, well, I liked the ending better in the movie than the book. It did not make me cry, however. It almost did, but nothing like in the book where I cried tons. It made me smile though to hear other people sniffling while watching the movie. XD
Gonna watch The Proposal next week. So much for saving money. :-I

Congratulations to Roger Federer and his wife by the way. They are the new proud parents of twin girls! :D Yay! Go Twins!! I also wanted to have twin girls in the future, and I shall name them Colleen and Nicole. How about Emily and Emma? XD
I've tried troubleshooting already. Reset, reinstall, restart, update and whatnot, but my iPod only charges and it does not appear on either Windows or iTunes. F*ck! There must be something wrong with this cable.
Anyway, we watched Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince Sunday afternoon. It was okay, not my favorite HP film though. The movie was dark. And by “dark”, I meant that the sceneries were mostly DARK and GLOOMY. As in like night fall. Do they hate the sunshine or what? Just kidding.
But yes, the movie was definitely darker, in the evil sense. My biggest problem with this movie was that they kinda focused on the romance part (though I don't have any idea if the book was the same because I haven't read book 6), and not the Half-Blood Prince. Why was he called the Half-Blood Prince for Merlin's sake?!
As for the romance part, ugh, I don't really like Ron/Hermione pairing. Harry and Hermione seem to have more chemistry in the film versions than Ron and Hermione. Of course, I'd say that Harry and Luna have chemistry as well compared to Harry/Ginny. Luna was simply adorable!! And why was Ginny even kissing that guy? And am I the only who thinks that McLaggen was HOT? :D
colleenrei is 36% HeteroHow hetero are you? How hetero is Martha Stewart? Try out any Twitter name and get the real picture. Are we really the words we use? Hope to see you at Stockholm Pride!Found Words: anatomy, cute, fashion, female, horse
You're a bit retro hetero. Take care of your hetero memories, they're as important to you as the flannel shirt was to the grunge.
LOL. Whatever that means. XD

Hmp, makatulog na lang. Papasok pa ako mamaya.
French Open 2009
Woohoo!! Roger Federer wins his very first French Open title! It was an exciting game because Soderling is the only player who has beaten the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal. Good job Federer!
On the other side, Maria Sharapova didn't even make it to the Semi-Finals. Worst game, but I've gotta say good job for making it that far. She didn't play for 9 or 10 months due to shoulder injury, so it was kinda understandable (partida!). Well, at least the Russians (Go Team Russia!) played during the Finals. But alas, Safina didn't win!
Work
Oh man. I'm gonna feel lonely at work starting Monday night. There's a major change in our team in which more than half of us will be transferred to the day shift including our ATL. Not really sure if the recession in Canada has got something to do with it. All my friends will be on the day shift. Unfortunately, one of the 3 QAs need to stay at night and I volunteered. My friends asked why, and my reasons are: First, I have trainees and the training is conducted only at night. Second, I don't want to wake up at 3:30 am. It's still not normal to me. Third, no more hazard pay and night differential. So if I was to transfer, more than 2,000 of my salary will be gone. As in POOF! And if I didn't have monthly incentive, more than 4,000 overall. Heck no, thank you very much. Goodbye so-called normal life. Of course, the downside is that I'll probably eat alone. *sighs* I don't mind since I'm a lone wolf at heart. I'm not saying that I'm a twisted loner or anything though! I still love the idea of having friends. But you know the saying, "friends they come and friends they go. Nothing really lasts forever". Actually, that was from a dance song ♫. Not a real saying :) ♫

Holy racquet! Rafael Nadal lost in the 4th Round of French Open! Maria Sharapova is currently playing and I'm sooooo nervous to watch her, I shut the TV off for now. Funny, I'm not even the one playing. >_<
And I have to train new hires tomorrow for the first time. >_<
Hallo. It's been a while, noh?
Not really in a mood to blog, but I just thought Susan Boyle is worth blogging. I just heard about Susan this morning while watching CNN, and now I'm watching her for the 4th time on YouTube. Unbelievable. She makes me cry over and over! Her voice + I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables = AWESOME!!! And I particularly love Amanda's comment after Susan's performance.
"I am so thrilled because I know that everybody was against you. I honestly think that we were all being very cynical and I think that's the biggest wakeup call ever. And I just want to say that it was a complete privilege listening to that."
Moral lesson. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Don't mind the subject. ♫
New Desktop
Bought a new PC yesterday. I'm quite happy, but at the same time sad because I've spent a large chunk of my money in exchange. (>_<)'. My original plan was to get a new CPU only, an Intel Core 2 Quad processor to be exact, but Octagon usually doesn't sell parts separately for Quad processors, so I ended up buying the whole package of an Intel Core 2 Duo. My budget is only up to P30,000 (-_-)', that's why I didn't take the Quad package.
Anyway, next is choosing a new ISP. I'm torn between getting a DSL and a Cable Modem. Particularly between Globe DSL and Sky Broadband (we are both Globe Landlines and Sky Cable subscriber). I'm gonna try Sky Broadband first because I haven't heard many complaints about Sky (since they only have few customers?) and I like their Customer Service better. Their 12 Mbps plan makes me wanna drool, but it's rather expensive! (>_<)' Gonna stick with 1.5 Mbps for now.
Movies
January
Bride Wars (Theater) - My rating: 3/5 - I only watched because Anne Hathaway was on it. I cracked up when she started dancing. Bwahaha! Speaking of Anne, caught a glimpse of her and Hugh Jackman singing during the Oscars. Whoa! She can sing? He can sing? Hugh is sooo totally one of my male celebrity crushes right now :)
February
Push (Theater) - My rating: 2.5/5 - Eh. I didn't quite understand it. Didn't like Hong Kong too. Only watched because Dakota Fanning was on it. (Really big fan of Dakota).
Confessions of A Shopaholic (Theater) - My rating: 3/5 - Watched both this movie and Push on the same day. Uhg, they totally changed the story. Still funny though. Like Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher cracked me up when she started dancing.
March
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Pirated DVD) - Still watching. Ohmyword, that little Daisy is Dakota Fanning's little sister?! Awesome!! I love child actresses. :)
Watchmen (Theater) - Gonna watch it on Sunday (^-^)
Shaolin Girl (Theater) - Is it good? Should I watch it? I want to just because it's Japanese (When did Shaolin become Japanese again???) And Japanese girls who kick ass are soooo kakkoi and kawaii!! But meh, the effects based on the trailer don't look good.
Work
I'm busy as hell.
Anyway, Our TL filed for resignation D:. Can't imagine what she's going through right now. You know, with her father being diagnosed with cancer. Our team is probably cursed. No TL has lasted for a year. D:
TV
The IT Crowd - Saw an episode on Maxxx. Bloody hell, I liked it! :D The one playing Jen is quite lovely, isn't she? More British shows please. (Skins perhaps?)
Site
Darn, our server (moved.in) is still down! (T_T)
Meh. Work again later. I was on sick leave last Friday because when I woke up that day and tried to get up, I suddenly felt dizzy. Oh man, I just hope there won't be too many backlogs. :(
Parents
Our dad arrived last week and our parents just bought a new car a couple of days ago. It will arrive tomorrow and they'll be taking it to the province. They will have a joy ride all the way to Bicol that would take... I dunno... 13 hours? Then ride a ship to Samar which will only take an hour, I think, then cross the San Juanico bridge to get to Leyte, and then finally head south.
Anyways, I want to try the new car and take it to the mall or to work. It's just a cheap black Toyota something, but at least it's automatic. But first, I have to get a driver's license. My student permit expired eons ago.
TV This February
Thanks for the tip Jamibu *glomps* *marks February 16 on her calendar* The hit Reality Show, The Amazing Race, is back! And for the 14th Season, there will be 3 F/F Teams on board, weee~!! Go ladies!! :D

F/F Teams: Former NFL Cheerleaders (or dubbed as Team Gingerbeasts by Survivorsuckers. Redheads for real? I already like Cara. She sounds like a saint on her profile.) on the left; Flight Attendants on the middle (Blondies v 2.0? 3.0? I lost count); And Sisters at the back ('Sista'?)

Heavy traffic, jam-packed trains, layoffs. Life gets better and better! I can deal with the first 2, but the layoff part is quite scary. I'm worried that the crime rates will go up this year. Be very, very careful especially to all the ladies. Just last week, a colleague on her way to work found her bag open and realized that her wallet was missing. She came to work in tears. And the day before yesterday, I heard another colleague was robbed. Man, I hate those kind of people. Here you are, working your ass off everyday at work, then one day some robbers will take your money away. Makes me wanna scream "die and go to hell you bastards!!"
Australian Open 2009
I missed the Women's Finals. Learned through my sister that Dinara Safina lost to Serena Williams. I'm rooting for Safina (just because she's... well, Russian. And she kinda looks like Jill Hennessy, lol), though I wasn't really surprised that she lost. She almost lost to Cornet, didn't she?
Congratulations to Serena for being the World. No.1. Again. Those Williams sisters are really great, I'll give them that.
Get well soon to Maria Sharapova. :(
On the other side, the Men's Finals, World No.1 will face the former World No. 1 tomorrow (?). Isn't it exciting to see Nadal and Federer facing off again and again and again? Go Federer!!! I was kinda hoping that Nadal would lost to Verdasco just so Federer can reclaim the top seed rank teh heh.

Our PSPs have finally arrived. Thanks Pops! But apparently, he doesn't know anything about game consoles coz' he bought PSP-2000 and 3000 series versions.
Anyway, since I'm basically new to this thing, I'm still figuring out how to play games without a UMD. Boy, those games for download have huge file size. :-/
Going back to Pops, I hope their ship won't pass through Somalia. I don't want to hear news about Pinoy seafarers taken hostage by those pirates from Somalia anymore.

Happy 27th Birthday Britney Spears! Velvet channel doesn't air Good Morning America via satellite, so I still need to wait for 6 more hours.
Speaking of Velvet, my sis told me that she saw The Cutting Edge (1992) being plugged on said channel. I haven't seen the movie, but it reminded me of this romance novel I once read and loved when I was still in high school so I'm curious and a bit excited to see this movie. Plus, I think Moira Kelly is fantastic!

Barack Obama names Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. How surprising and awesome is that? (Though I don't know exactly know what a SoS does). Rock on HRC!
